Converting deals to leads - how to identify?

Hey All,

Once a deal is converted to a lead, which AOI endpoints should be used to check and find this lead that was once a deal?

Does the deal disappear, will I be able to search on the deal id?

If when the lead is converted back to a deal, will it have the same original deal id?

once a lead or a deal is converted, it is marked as deleted and a usual 30-day period starts after which it is permanently removed. During this period, the deal/lead is not accessible via API. However, if the entity is converted back, It will have the same original id.
