Creating a deal with one of the later stages in the pipeline shows 8 days in that stage and 0 days in the previous stages.

Does anyone know how to properly create a deal so that every stage leading up to the stage the deal was created with in pipedrive will have non-zero days?

Problem also is that there is no record of the number of days spent in those stages coming from the imported system.
