Entry point is required for Custom Modal, but should be optional

Hi all,

While setting up a Custom Modal in the developer hub, I noticed that the field “Entry points” is required. The system doesn’t allow saving the modal without selecting at least one location, showing the error:

Choose at least one location

According to the docs, a modal can be opened either via entry points or via the SDK (openModal). For my use case, I want to create a modal that is only triggered via the SDK and not attached to any predefined location.

Is this currently possible, or is it a limitation in the developer hub UI?

Hello Matt,

Thanks for raising a post for this :smiley: I am facing the same issue. This is something which has happened very recently and would by great to know the reason. Similar to you i am controlling custom modal via sdk and it this mandatory it would be difficult.
