Looking for a plug-in or extension for chrome that will read the “activities” set for specific times and create a pop-up window alarm with a hot link to the contact…anyone else tried to build or found something like this yet?

Seems like an interesting use case. You can build a Chrome extension that reads the activities of a person via the API
Pipedrive API v1 Reference using a Pipedrive app. You can also trigger a reminder using chrome.alarms API
But I am curious to know how the functionality differs from Calendar integrations where activities can act as reminders.
