Weird results when linking person to organization

I am currently on the person level *pipedrive.com/person/179596, and I try to link this person to an organization. I get the following on the console:

https://*.pipedrive.com/api/v1/deals/179596
payload:
{org_id: 7586}

and I get back:

  1. error: “Deal not found”
  2. error_info: “Please check developers.pipedrive.com for more information about Pipedrive API.”

The issue is: person linking with org, why does it trigger a deal endpoint?

You need to use Patch Person Pipedrive API Reference and Documentation with the Orgid field in it.
